Job Creation and Economic Development

A key part of Treasurer Cowell’s plan for developing the financial services industry in North Carolina is to reach out to minorities and historically underutilized businesses currently in North Carolina while also recruiting new firms and industries to the state. These initiatives will enhance our state’s financial condition and increase opportunities for residents. Additionally, she will work to partner with North Carolina’s Universities to help build career ladders for students that want to become financial professionals.
